National Documents Analysis of Risk Communication in Iran: Based on Disaster Risk Management Cycle

Background: Risk communication is a complex, multifaceted process that plays significant role in disaster management. One of the criticisms Iran's health system risk existence legal gaps and deficiencies upstream documents. Objectives: This research evaluated national documents to identify assess legislative gap communication. Methods: analysis study using qualitative content method. National from 2002 2022 related management were collected. Documents entered into blueprint designed by researcher analyzed. Results: In present study, 58 due extracted. After initial review, 36 involving 266 items concentrating on included research. thematic analysis, 47 approvals mitigation phase (five subcategories information, education public awareness, infrastructure development, community engagement, preparation maintenance information systems), 61 preparedness (nine monitoring, database, creation network infrastructure, coordination, organizational training, planning, determining level access communication, monitoring evaluation), 133 response (11 management, informing, media trust building, organization appointing spokesperson, control, use social media, production, supply equipment infrastructure), 25 rehabilitation reconstruction (four documentation, engagement). Conclusions: The field has been mentioned according revision updating recent years, but these documents, many aspects dim; therefore, experts should pay more attention review papers special document
